Also looking for a place to land and grow my business. Thanks for your insights into the platform.

I have never seen a platform that has all the business building components in one place. For free! ♥️ Substack

Just wondered if that was my imagination....thanks

Loved this! And I think you’re right. It’s nice to finally find a space to land. 😊

The time is now. There is a vacuum of leadership in almost every niche. It’s time to go from invisible on Instagram to seen on Substack. 🔥

This resonates so much with where I am at! Substack has been a breath of fresh air! Instagram was so overwhelming for me.

Julie Ciardi-50 Not Finished📕's avatar

Totally overwhelming. Here the gold is in the simplicity and real human connection.

About your point #2… No ads…. I wonder when that will change. It definitely makes Substack a very calm space, no ads, not so many images, more writing, more white space.

But…. in today´s world, ads are introduced everywhere.

Julie Ciardi-50 Not Finished📕's avatar

I know. I think Substack’s monetization strategy should help keep ads off here. They take 10% commission on all paid subscription revenue. 🙏🏻

Csilla 🌹 Feminine in midlife 💃's avatar

Yes, that´s already a good source of revenue. But everything can happen.

This is the only platform for thoughtful leaders. Yes, the air is different here because you can be real here and be supported. Thank you Julie!

Christine Williams's avatar

YES! I totally agree. It does FEEL different here. Love that you and @Kelly Roach are creating trainings on how to do this effectively. <3

Yes! We are leveraging Substack differently With different goals. It’s been my fave place to be. And I’m not a content creator lol

Metaphysical topics like astrology and tarot are much more accepted here than they are on Medium where I wrote for several years. I'm still there, but I'll only be posting about tarot, my passion, and other metaphysical topics that interest me here.

Hi Julie,

I absolutely loved this post, and especially how you frame Substack as a place for “legacy work” and “thought leadership” over performing. That really resonates with me. It sounds like you’ve created a beautiful space for women to build their "tribe" around meaningful content, which is a key focus in our book, too! Thanks for this.

I love this. After trying every platform, Julie found her home on Substack. No ads, no algorithms, just meaningful connections and real growth. It’s where entrepreneurs can finally get their message out without the distractions. :)

I’m so excited to join this space and have appreciated your point of view on it. So many of us are burned out from going to the “next best thing.” However, knowing that Substack has already stood the test of time is encouraging. Plus I don’t have to dance and plan the best music background to my post! 🤣🤦‍♀️😝

I love how you create this feeling that there is enough space for all of us here. We are not competing against each other but attracting the audience that is the right audience for us. I am learning more about my design and it is working. Fantastic.
