You are invited! NEW workshop on Wednesday, 9/23 at 11am eastern!
Architect Your Substack Publication Using Your Human Design.
Simply upgrade the the Substack Soapbox (my paid member tier) to join us!
Everyone is teaching you the how.
What’s the Notes strategy. How do I set up Substack. How do I do my paid tiers. We have all of that inside the Soapbox, and you’ll get it. But the how is not the most important aspect of Substack.
YOU are.
This is about the why, the what, and the who. Who are you trying to reach? What is the content you’re trying to reach them with? What’s the value proposition? Why should people want to read what you’re putting out there?
And here’s probably the most important part — who do you need to show up and be on Substack in order for your message to actually be received, for your paid tiers to be bought, and for your Substack to grow and monetize?
You have to know how you are uniquely designed to be experienced.
That is exactly what we’re doing together on Wednesday, September 23rd at 11am Eastern, live on Zoom. A workshop specifically on your Human Design profile and how it affects your publication strategy on Substack — and you’ll gain insights on your sales and marketing in general, related to your profile.
If you are in our Soapbox, in our Red Rebelle Room, or in IGNITE Her University — you have a ticket. You’re coming. It’s on your shared calendar.
If you are not, this is your opportunity to join us. You just need to join the paid tier of my Substack. It’s called the Soapbox, and it’s $79 for the entire year.
Let me be clear about what that $79 is buying you.
This one workshop on the 23rd is worth way over $79. But it’s worth a $79 entrance fee into the Soapbox, and you get access for the whole year. When you join, you’re getting our entire Soapbox training — Substack 101, podcasting on Substack, all of our past trainings. It’s all in Kajabi. You get every workshop we create for the next 12 months, and all of the Substack Reviews I do once a month.
You do not need to be a Substack user. You don’t need to be consuming on Substack. It is your ticket in to workshops like this one.
It’s the best $79 you’ll ever spend.
Why this workshop matters
Because this workshop is going to help you stop wasting time.
It’s going to take everything else you’re doing on Substack and make it so much more aligned with your design — so that the content converts. So it attracts your tribe. So you learn how to establish your publication based on what people need to see, hear, and believe to actually want to pay you.
Listen. When you go and consume someone’s podcast, or someone’s article on Substack, even their Notes — you are experiencing them. They are coming across in a certain way.
And some of those people, you’re like, oh, this is really good. This resonates with me. This is something I want to subscribe to. Ooh — I want to upgrade into their paid tier.
There’s a reason. It is not by chance.
And of course there are others where you’re like, yeah, no. I’m not interested. It could even be around the same topic. Certain people you’re drawn to, certain publications you’re drawn to, and others you’re not.
So how can you make sure that you are showing up in the way that people need to experience you?
The way we do that is quite simple. We need to understand our Human Design — but most specifically, our Human Design profile. It teaches us so much about how we are meant to be experienced by others, so that they begin to trust us, know us, like us, buy from us, follow us, subscribe to us.
That’s what we’re doing on September 23rd.
I have absolutely had content fall flat
There are 12 Human Design profiles. I’m a 2/4.
Our profile tells us so much about the sales and marketing strategies — and the pitfalls, the caveats, and the magic — that we need to be aware of. Because our profile shows us how others are meant to experience us. And if they’re not experiencing us correctly through our content, it’s going to fall flat.
I don’t know about you, but I have absolutely had content fall flat. I’ve had strategies fall flat that worked for other people. I talked about it in part one — I spent over $5,000 on a quiz funnel that yielded zero sales. It was wildly successful at creating leads. It created no sales. Because I wasn’t following my design when it came to the sales and marketing.
Don’t you want to monetize?
I have been on Instagram for nine years. I’ve never made a dollar on Instagram. I have been on Substack for nine months and have made almost $70,000 directly from the platform — and Substack was a huge driver of leads into my $1.2 million launch in May.
This is a worthy conversation.
Substack is not another social media platform
I say this all the time, but it’s so worth repeating.
Substack has a social media component. It’s called Notes. Notes is not Substack. Notes is a component of Substack.
This is a critical distinction, because what I’ve found is that if you go into Substack with the mindset of it being a social media platform, you’re going to miss the whole value prop. With Notes, the only people you’re reaching are people who are on Substack — users of the Substack app. That’s important, and it can be an area of growth. But that is not all of Substack.
Let me blow your mind for a minute. You can be using Substack to wildly grow your business without someone being a user of Substack. Without someone having the Substack app downloaded to their phone. Yes.
Because the most powerful aspect of Substack is that it’s a publishing platform. It is also a monetization platform. A collaboration platform. A communication platform — I hate to use the word CRM, but yeah, it can be that too. 100%. It’s a podcasting platform — I got rid of Libsyn. What it can do is insane.
If we think of it too narrowly, we’re going to miss the opportunity. And if you’re a solopreneur or have a very small team, Substack can literally reduce so much complexity in your business. It can reduce your tech stack.
I want you to think about a magazine. A newspaper. What blogs used to be. A TV show, a radio show, a news show. That is what a Substack publication is — and it can be any of those things or a combination of them. Your Substack could be a magazine with a talk show. That’s how I look at mine. My podcast is on Substack, and I create multimedia articles that are always tied to a podcast, so people can listen, they can read, they can experience.
We’re talking about you creating your core content — your podcasts, your articles, the content that becomes your body of work. Versus posts on Instagram that go into the abyss, never to be seen again. Substack also connects to YouTube and LinkedIn. It is a publishing platform for your best work.
We’re going to start here on the 23rd, so that we all get our mindset correct around the possibilities of Substack — and then get your content, no matter what platform you’re using, dialed in and aligned to your profile.
What we’re doing on the 23rd
First, you’re going to run your report — your 50 Not Finished® Human Design report. I have rewritten all the language so it is so much more clear. You’ll download that before we meet.
Then on the 23rd, I’m giving you a JulieBot — a custom GPT specifically on your profile — with a workbook, so you can get to work on what you need to create in your Substack publication. Clear, confident, and actually creating conversion.
I want you to walk away with absolute clarity and a breakthrough on the kind of content — your content strategy, the topics, maybe the angles you need to be taking.
Today is my 52nd birthday, by the way, and I am feeling quite generous. I want to make this worth your while.
This is going to be one of the most powerful things you can do to close out 2026 going into 2027. If you already have a Substack — really upleveling it. If you don’t have one yet — really beginning to explore why this could be the most powerful platform to publish your content, ever, and what you want to be including in your content based on your Human Design.
Wednesday, September 23rd. 11am Eastern. Live on Zoom.
If you’re in the Soapbox, the Red Rebelle Room, or IGNITE Her University, it’s already on your shared calendar. If you’re not — join us for $79, and unlock the whole year of everything.
That’s also my daughter’s birthday. She’ll be 23 on the 23rd. And we are going to have an incredibly powerful session together — worth every penny of that $79.
Can’t wait to see you.
xo, Julie
