I'm Joe Ciardi

 

I’ve spent my career serving this community as a Sergeant with the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department. 

Throughout my years in law enforcement, I saw how deeply housing conditions impact safety, health, and stability. A broken furnace, unsafe stairs, or a leaking roof can quietly push a family into crisis.

That’s why I stepped into the role of Executive Director of Rebuilding Together Hudson Valley.

Safe housing isn’t a luxury. It’s the foundation for independence and dignity.

We provide critical home repairs at no cost to seniors, veterans, and families who simply can’t afford them — and we can’t do it without community support.
