This is exactly why I stopped calling what I do HR leadership coaching and started calling it HR Mentorship. I’m not a coach, I’m a leader who has been there and is teaching HR professionals what I have learned. 🫶🏻
I agree, I've thought of myself as a mentor, and I've had mentors whom I've learned from and with for years. Yet, just a few years ago I was told, don't use the word mentor that sounds like its free. Just in the last 3 months I have returned to the correct term for me Mentor.
