It’s been a little while since I’ve put a public podcast out here.
I’ve been hard at work delivering to our clients every single day, and I’ve taken a step back from marketing and from creating free content.
I want to share why — and I want to bring you behind the scenes, because I also want to give permission to every one of you that sometimes, sometimes we need to go deep in our businesses. In the delivery. In the work with the clients who are paying us, to make sure we are building something that continues to get more valuable over time.
Sometimes we need to step back and build the team to support the clients and the business.
This has helped me so much over the years — hearing a fellow entrepreneur talk about the behind the scenes, the vision, the strategy. So I wanted to create this for you, too.
What I’ve done every year since 2020
Let me bring it back to the beginning of this year.
I did what I’ve always done for six years. I launch. Anywhere from three to four times a year, I do a week-long free masterclass and I give my heart out. It’s an incredible experience. You may have been in one of them.
It’s almost like a free week inside our world — being in the frequency and the energy of the IGNITE Her® Frequencies, which is my version of a combination of Human Design, Gene Keys, the I Ching, and the work I did with Bob Proctor. All of it is to help women actually step into the work they’re meant to do here in the world, and to learn how to kick that inner critic out of the driver’s seat.
During that week, I open the doors to our main and only program. I don’t even like to call it a program, because it’s really a new way of being — IGNITE Her® University.
Six years of that. It’s how I bring in new clients. It’s how I serve the market. It’s how we grow.
I did one in January. I did one in May. And in May, I said out loud that I would not do another masterclass this year, and I would not do another launch this year.
I stuck to it. I’m not doing it.
It has nothing to do with not wanting to. I love doing it. Thousands of women coming together from around the world to get clarity on their legacy work, their message, their business — it’s amazing.
But I knew there were three big things that needed my absolute focused time before I could ever launch again.
And I think this is fairly rare in this space.
I think people just keep launching and launching and launching, bringing more and more people in, scaling on the acquisition of new clients all the time — at the expense of actually making what they deliver to the clients they already have better.
When we came out of the May launch, we had over 400 women in IGNITE Her® University. We have close to 400 women in the Red Rebelle Room. With the Soapbox included, we’re at 1,075 clients right now, at the time of this recording.
I could not bring one more person in from outside our community until we did three things.
#1. Reset and rebuild the team.
The team is everything.
When you have a business servicing that many clients, and you are the visionary and the founder, you cannot hold all the details of running the business, delivering everything that needs to get delivered, and handling all of the internal communication and internal marketing that’s required at over 1000 clients.
You can’t do that alone. And you can’t do it with just a VA.
You need people who are going to live and breathe the success of those clients — the white glove experience and everything it takes to run the business.
Right now there are eight or nine of us. And I am the only one on sales and marketing. Me. One person.
My entire team is on everything that happens after the sale.
Really hear that. Everything after the sale.
Most online businesses at our level are the other way around. Most of their resources sit on marketing and sales and driving revenue, rather than on the delivery and the experience after someone buys. I take this very, very seriously.
Now I’m going to be brutally honest with you. We are nowhere near where we need to be with the team yet. But we’re working on it, and it is a huge focus.
Team has been one of the hardest aspects of growing a business for six years, because you typically don’t find the right people right out of the gate. And when I say the right people, I mean chemistry. Especially the ones who deliver to your clients.
They have to be motivated to serve. They have to be motivated to be innovative, to have critical thinking. If you want a team that isn’t reliant on you at every step, you need very independent people who can take extreme ownership and lead the area they’re responsible to lead.
I’ve been in masterminds with a ton of entrepreneurs well over the $2 and $3 million mark. This is the number one challenge everyone is facing right now — finding the rock stars. Finding people who are self-led, motivated, innovative, critical thinkers who do not need to be handheld.
It is so challenging. And it’s required.
#2. Uplevel the experience to white glove.
The second thing I needed to step back for was our clients’ actual experience inside our programs — from onboarding, to the weekly calls, to what we deliver.
The team is obviously a huge component of that. But so is the feedback loop.
Right now I’m going through a massive exercise, taking the feedback of our clients and turning it into major enhancements and adjustments to the program — especially our flagship, IGNITE Her® University. Value-driven adjustments based on what we’re hearing from our 400-plus clients inside it.
That takes time. That takes intellectual property development. That takes full ownership and working on the hard stuff.
I spent four hours on it yesterday. Four hours. And I’m nowhere near done.
Because you can’t do every single thing a client asks. It has to fit into the vision and the strategy and the price point of what you are delivering. The work is taking the time to focus in on what is truly needed, and then making the major adjustments.
The other angle is speed. We want people getting results as fast as possible.
Typically we bring in 100 to 200 new people when we run a masterclass. It’s incredible. And no, I’m not doing it.
From right now to January of 2027, we have over 200 people set to renew into our programs. I have an all hands on deck focused on the renewal of those souls rather than on bringing new people in.
That’s the Clients for Life strategy. It isn’t a campaign. It’s where the entire company’s attention goes.
#3. Build the actual system, designed to scale.
The third thing driving me to focus on the development and the stability of the business — the foundation of it — rather than piling more and more new people on top of it, is that I needed to build the actual IGNITE Her® system. One our clients can use for themselves, and then go use with others inside our certification.
It’s a set of components.
The IGNITE Her® Frequencies guidebook, which I’m very close to submitting the full manuscript for — it’s going to be 500 to 700 pages. A true guidebook for studying the Frequencies.
The card decks, which are complete and absolutely gorgeous. The journal that goes with the whole system. The personalized reports.
The Daily Frequency, my daily podcast, to help women with their conscious awareness of the paradigms and patterns living in their design — so they can have a quantum leap in who they are being, and create the results they want in their life.
And the last component we’re building, something called Juno — an AI contemplative partner that works with the whole system, built off of my knowledge, so this can scale.
All of it takes time. And the value coming out the other end is incredible.
What I’m still doing
I am still running ads. But they’re brand-building ads. Every one of them points to a Substack article I’ve written or a podcast I’ve spoken.
It’s kind of like how things used to be back in the day, running ads to blogs. My Substack grows every single day, and I’m continuing to nurture people there.
The Soapbox and the Red Rebelle Room are open any time. Those doors stay open.
But the University — the core of our mission, this legacy work — I’m taking a real step back to focus on those three things. The team. The delivery and the IP behind our white glove service. And the products and system designed to scale.
Because the IGNITE Her® mission is to become the premier personal growth and development daily practice for women near and over 50.
Why I’m telling you this
You might not be thinking about me at all. Or you might have gotten this and thought, huh — I haven’t heard from this chick in a really long time. Not since May, since our last free masterclass.
So I wanted to bring you in behind the scenes.
And I want to know if it’s valuable. If you want me to go deeper on team, I’ll go deeper on team. If you want to know what white glove service actually looks like and what we’re doing to build it, I’ll take you there. If you want more on what I mean by a system that can scale and go really big out into the world, say so.
Whatever questions you have, I’ll answer them in future podcasts. You just have to let me know.
And if you’re interested in going deeper with the IGNITE Her® Frequencies, I highly recommend you check out becoming a Red Rebelle. It’s $399 for the year. You get the Daily Frequency every day, plus a full IGNITE Her® Frequencies workshop with me once a month.
If you’ve ever thought about joining us in the University — I’m scheduled to open those doors again in January — the Red Rebelle Room is a great first step. You start understanding your unique design from the angle of developing your Soapbox, your niche, what you are here to say, your legacy work.
Powerful, powerful stuff. Major quantum leaps happening in that community every single day.
Go check out the Red Rebelle Room. And tell me what you want to hear more about.
